Beanlands Nursing Home

Beanlands Nursing Home is located in Cross Hills, on the outskirts of Skipton and Keighley. Established as a nursing home in 1974, Beanlands was acquired by the Czajka Care Group in 2003. The home is registered to provide nursing care for up to 45 older people.

Beanlands has been tastefully decorated to an exceptionally high standard, offering a choice of thirty seven single and four twin rooms, twenty nine of which have en-suite facilities. All rooms are carpeted and fitted with quality furniture, individual nurse call system, telephone point and televisions. We encourage residents to bring personal items such as small items of furniture, photographs, ornaments and other treasured mementoes to help make their room their own. A number of ground floor rooms have patio doors which open out onto the terraces and gardens.

The home offers a choice of two lounges and a large conservatory area to enjoy the stunning views and the changing of seasons in warmth and comfort. Residents can choose to have their meals in the spacious dining room or have waitress service where their meals are brought to them in their own rooms.

Residents of Beanlands also have access to three laptops and a wireless ADSL Broadband service which allows them to browse and send emails in the comfort of their own rooms or in one of the communal areas.

Beanlands is accredited as an Investors in People organization, demonstrating our commitment to developing staff and ensuring continuous improvement in our business.

Gold Standards Framework

Beanlands Nursing Home is one of only 183 care homes nationwide who have been accredited with the Gold Standards Framework (GSF). This Quality Hallmark Award is awarded to care homes that can evidence the highest standard of care for all people nearing the end of their life. It means we listen to what people want and support them and their families in making choices and decisions about their care when nearing the end of their life. It means we work together with other professionals to ensure people can stay at Beanlands and be looked after by staff they know who will continue to give them the care they want when their life is coming to an end. The GSF is sponsored by Age UK and endorsed by the English Community Care Association, Registered Nursing Home Association, National Care Association and National Care Forum.
