Staveley Birkleas Nursing provides single room accommodation for sixty residents, young adults with various physical disabilities and also those with terminal illness.

The Home is designed to have up to ten residents living in a cluster, with each cluster having its own lounge and dining room space. A sunken garden with a pagola is the centre piece of the rehabilitation unit enabling the residents to enjoy outside activities. The rehabilitation unit also has a purpose built kitchen where residents are able to adjust the height of the sink to any wheelchair level.
