An exciting Easter at family run care group
We organised several ‘egg-citing’ activities this Easter and have even more fun activities planned during spring.
Konrad Czajka, managing director at Czajka Care Group, said: “The Easter bunny definitely put in the hours across our care and nursing homes this Easter! With fabulous craft activities, ingenious Easter egg hunts and tasty treats prepared by our wonderful residents and chefs – there was enough chocolate to sink a ship!
“Our older residents who live with us at our Fairmount Nursing Home and Brookfield Care Home in Nab Wood and our Currergate Nursing Home in Steeton enjoyed our Easter craft sessions and made brilliant Easter bonnets.
“Our younger residents, who live with us at our specialist home, Staveley Birkleas, which is also in Nab Wood had a great time taking part in the Easter egg hunt and they also baked delicious Easter cakes and buns.
“April has seen us celebrate some more big birthdays, with parties, cakes, balloons, and flowers and we are so proud of our dedicated teams, who always go the extra mile to make every birthday one to remember!
“As the weather warms up, we plan to be outside in the gardens and grounds of our wonderful care and nursing homes even more. With accessible raised flower beds, many of our residents enjoy helping to plant up flowers and vegetables and we are looking forward to seeing them grow.”
Czajka Care Group owns Fairmount Nursing Home, Brookfield Care Home and Staveley Birkleas Nursing Home, which are all in Nab Wood near Shipley, as well as Currergate Nursing Home in Steeton which is between Skipton and Keighley.
