Czajka Care Group opens its doors to more residents at Currergate Nursing Home and Brookfield Care Home
Major extensions at our two popular and highly rated care and nursing homes for the elderly in West Yorkshire are nearing completion, with several new residents signed up and ready to move in, and just a few places remaining.
Our managing director, Konrad Czajka, said: “We are delighted to be nearing completion on the 15 new en-suite rooms at our popular Currergate Nursing Home in Steeton this month. With five rooms on each of the three storeys of our new extension, we have had plenty of interest and several people keen to view and reserve a place with us.
“We already care for 78 people across our Currergate and Brookfield homes, but we are proud to be creating more high-quality rooms, as our enquiry levels for places continue to soar.”
Further work to deliver eight new en-suite rooms at Brookfield Care Home in Nab Wood is due to finish in March 2024. The major extension and improvement programmes are part of Czajka Care Group’s multi-million-pound investment, following high demand from people keen to move into its nursing and care homes.
Czajka Care Group is also building eight new stunning retirement homes at its popular Fairmount Park development in Nab Wood, Shipley, six of which have already sold off plan. The investment in Fairmount Park near Saltaire, by the family owned and run Czajka Care Group, will deliver a selection of new purpose-built, high quality, retirement houses and apartments for people aged over 55, which will be ready to move into by April 2024.
Konrad added: “Buyers have been attracted to the immaculate setting of Fairmount Park, located in the heart of a sought-after residential area, close to all the amenities that Saltaire has to offer. They have not only loved our location, but the style of the homes, the attention to detail in every aspect of the design, as well as the on-site support available from Brookfield Care Home as and when required. The fact that buyers can benefit from becoming members of The Clubhouse at Fairmount Park, which has a host of leisure facilities including a swimming pool, gym, crown green bowling and putting green, as well as a bar and restaurant, has also been another huge pull.”

Special visitors bring music and smiles to Brookfield Care Home
Residents and staff at Brookfield Care Home were treated to a heartwarming visit from Richard and his lovely dog, Honey. Richard filled the home with music and cheer as he sang some of our residents’ favourite songs, while Honey captured everyone’s hearts with her adorable tricks. The afternoon was filled with laughter, cuddles, and even a few happy tears as everyone enjoyed the uplifting atmosphere. What a truly unforgettable day for our wonderful resident, Michelangelo, as his lifelong dream came true — watching his beloved hometown team, Napoli, play against Manchester City at the Etihad Stadium.
