Half the homes at a stunning new retirement development sold off plan
Half of the new retirement homes being built at the popular Fairmount Park development in Nab Wood, Shipley have already sold off plan.
The multi-million-pound investment in Fairmount Park near Saltaire, by the family owned and run Czajka Care Group, will see eight new purpose-built, high quality, assisted living retirement houses and apartments being delivered. The homes will be ready to move into by April 2024.
Managing director of Czajka Care Group, Konrad Czajka, said: “Our retirement properties have long waiting lists, with some people reserving a home years in advance of their planned move date. These beautiful new houses and apartments will help us meet the huge demand for retirement properties for people aged over 55 in the area. We currently have just 37 houses and apartments at Fairmount Park, so we are delighted to be building these new houses and apartments, which start from £220,000.”
Buyers have been attracted to the immaculate setting of the Fairmount Park development, located in the heart of a sought-after residential area, close to all the amenities that Saltaire has to offer. Konrad added: “Buyers have not only loved our location, but the style of the homes, the attention to detail in every aspect of the design, and the support and on-site medical and community services available at Fairmount Park. The fact that buyers can benefit from becoming members of The Clubhouse at Fairmount Park has also been another huge pull.”
The Clubhouse at Fairmount Park is home to a bar, restaurant, private function suite, snooker room, swimming pool and gym, and is the focal point of the development, which sits in a leafy, manicured setting, within four acres of private gardens. Konrad added: “The crown green bowling and putting greens, as well as the bar and restaurant are just some of the amenities our residents can enjoy, alongside a varied and inclusive programme of activities and events. Fairmount Park is made up of a vibrant community of people, all keen to live their lives in their own private home, but with support on hand if and when they need it.”
Only three houses and one first floor apartment at the popular Fairmount Park development in Nab Wood, Shipley remain for sale. All of the homes have a service charge of £3,200 per annum, which includes buildings insurance and outside maintenance including window and gutter cleaning as well as gardening and landscaping. There is no ground rent charge.
Czajka Care Group owns Brookfield Care Home and Staveley Birkleas Nursing Home, which are both in Nab Wood near Shipley, as well as Currergate Nursing Home in Steeton, between Skipton and Keighley.
