It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas at Czajka Care Group
Christmas preparations are in full swing at all five of our family-run care and nursing homes.
Czajka Care Group’s managing director, Konrad Czajka, said: “Our creative and caring teams have not disappointed, with some fabulous decorations, trips and activities that are getting everyone into the Christmas spirit.”
Czajka Care Groupruns Fairmount Nursing Home, Brookfield Care Home and its specialist Nursing Home for people with physical disabilities, Staveley Birkleas, which are all in Nab Wood near Shipley, as well as Currergate Nursing Home in Steeton and Beanlands Nursing Home in Cross Hills.
This year residents from Staveley Birkleas, which is one of only a few facilities of its kind in the country that is home to residents aged between 18 and 64, with a vast range of needs and physical disabilities that prevent them from looking after themselves in their own homes, enjoyed a festive trip to Blackpool to see the illuminations.
Residents from Currergate Nursing Home had a great time Christmas shopping at Tong Garden Centre and even found a giant polar bear in amongst all the Christmas trees! They also helped decorate an incredible four Christmas trees, which are on display throughout the home.
Residents and the team at Brookfield Care home decorated the Christmas tree and communal areas throughout the home. Everyone loved seeing the team raise money for Alzheimer’s Society by dressing up as Christmas Elves for Elf Day.
The team at Beanlands Nursing Home hosted a wonderful Christmas Fair raising money for the residents’ fund and Alzheimer’s Society. With a fabulous raffle and creative stalls, residents, the team and members of the local community were able to do some Christmas shopping from the comfort of the home.
Konrad added: “Every year the time, energy and effort our teams put into making Christmas such a special time for our residents is inspiring.”
Czajka Care Group also owns and runs The Clubhouse at Fairmount Park, which is located off Nab Wood Drive in Shipley. The popular leisure club will be a destination for more festivities when it hosts a special Christmas Day lunch and spectacular New Year’s Eve party. There are just a few places left at both events and tickets can be reserved by calling 01274 531 913 or emailing clubhouse@czajka.co.uk
